The Nursery is complete!

Well here's our ideas for how the nursery will come together. The yellow wall color will be in horizontal stripes above a white wainscoting. So far we have everything but the pillow and lighting.

Inspiration for the nursery

The nursery will be bright green and yellow with an organic theme. While we didn't go with any of these bedding sets, we used them as inspiration.

New Years in Washington D.C.

We spent New Year's Day 2009 as tourists in Washington D.C. this year. We didn't know it yet, but I was carrying the next Swider.

We're Pregnant!

We found out on Sunday that we'll be expecting our first child come September. Let the planning of the nursery commence.....

Adding Architectural Details

We updated our Family Room by adding panel molding and crown molding to the walls, Molding around the entrance to the dining room, and adding a cornice box above the window. We all repainted the walls and added a new rug. See Spetmeber 28, 2008 post for before pictures.

All molding is from Lowes. Paint is blue blood by Olympic.
